2014 Hempfield Adidas Fall Classic - U14 Champions
PASC’s U14 Girls Extreme were crowned champions at the 2014 Hempfield Adidas Fall Classic! The team played in a very competitive bracket and finished undefeated with 2 wins and 2 draws. Throughout the tournament, the team brought a tenacious defense that only allowed 1 goal in 4 games. But with the championship on the line in the final match, the team elevated their attack creating 2 exciting goals which sealed the championship. Success at Hempfield was a testament to the hard work the players, team and coaches put in all fall. Well done ladies!
The PASC U12 Girls Force finished in 1st place at the Hempfield Adidas Fall Classic. The Force competed in the most competitive premier bracket offered by the tournament. The team finished with a 3-1 record outscoring the competition 9-4 (the best goal differential out of any premier level team). The Force players decided to allow the championship game to go to penalty kicks just so their parents would sweat it out a bit. Every Force player buried their PK in the back of the net and that resulted in a 5-4 PK shootout win over an extremely talented Century United of Pittsburgh team. The coaches and parents could not be more proud of this team!
The PASC Force U12 girls finished up their fall PAGS Div. 3 soccer season in 1st place with a record of 8-0-1. The Force outscored their opponents by a margin of 30-8 which included 4 shutout games. Their last game of the season was won in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 win over DE Union-Orange due to a goal scored in the last 20 seconds of the game. Congratulations Force, your fans are very proud of you!
Coach Bill McNamara led a mixed squad of his U14 girls along with some from Coach Nate Kings team to a first place finish in the UMYA tournament over the Columbus Day weekend, successfully defending their title from the same tournament the year before. The girls finished with 23 out of a possible 30 points and a 2-1-0 record, scoring 7 goals while keeping a clean sheet for the entire tournament. The players and parents all had a great time and are looking forward to once again defending their title at next year’s tournament.
The PASC Force U12 girls soccer team competed in the River Soccer tournament in Frankford, DE over the Columbus day weekend. The team went undefeated over a total of 4 games outscoring their opponents 19-2 and beating a tough Fruitland team in the finals, 5-0. Great Job Force!!!
PASC Red Devils U12 Boys team won the championship at the River Soccer Club Columbus Day Tournament this weekend. With a 4-0 record, total of 14 goals for and 4 against the Red Devils won the U12 8v8 division against teams from Maryland and Delaware. Their final game of the tournament determined the Champion; a 1-0 win over HFC United - Giblin (ranked #7 in Maryland).

PHS head boys’ soccer coach Patrick Burns poses with Principal Brenda DeRenzo and some Parkland Area Soccer Club athletes at Fogelsville Elementary School. The school was awarded a set of soccer goals to complement the physical education curriculum by the Parkland Area Soccer Club thanks to a request by Coach Birns. His goal is to equip all Parkland elementary schools with a set of goals that can remain on the fields for elementary students to use during gym class and recess. PASC U12 Girls team won their championship at the Gettysburg Battlefield Blast this weekend. With a total of 20 goals for and 4 against the Force won their 8 team division against teams from Maryland and Pennsylvania. The final was a 4-0 win over SAC United from Columbia Maryland.
