PASC Force U15 Girls Keystone Cup Champions‏

Over the Labor day weekend, the PASC Force U15 Girls team was crowned champions of the Keystone Cup.  It was a 2 day tournament that spanned 4 games of competitive soccer.  The Force won their first game against the Pennsylvania Soccer Academy in decisive fashion, 5-0.  Their 2nd game of the day was against a very aggressive and skilled PA Classics Elite team.  Both teams battled for 70 minutes with the PA classics coming out on top by a score of 2-1.  Day 2 placed the Force in a semifinal game against the 1st place team of the opposing bracket, the Richmond Kickers.  They were undefeated coming out of their bracket.  The game concluded with the Force on top by a score of 4-0.  The final game pitted the PA Classics Elite against the PASC Force (a rematch of the previous day).  This PA Classics team was a team of high school freshmen who displayed amazing technical skill with the ball.  For 70 minutes the battle ensued resulting in a 0-0 tie; on to penalty kicks.  PA classics up first had their shot blocked by the Force goalie.  The Force buried their first shot, PA classics missed their 2nd, and with two more buried in the back of the net by the Force, victory was achieved (with a sigh of relief by all).  Congratulations Force girls!  As always we are immensely proud!
