The PASC U11 girls team battled some quality teams at the 2019 EPYSA Indoor State Cup tournament this past weekend. Team Thunder won their first match 3-2 against the Keystone FC Premier team and then tied their second match against the Ukrainian Nationals Red by a score of 2-2. As team Thunder entered their third and final match of pool play they found themselves in a must win game. The girls dominated play and won the match 6-1 against HMMS Vipers.
Team Thunder entered the playoff round as the #4 seed to face the #1 seed Hunter Fusion. The girls responded with a convincing 5-3 win and were moving onto the championship match against a very strong North Union Valor team. The championship game did not disappoint. Both teams battled back and forth with multiple scoring chances but North Union scored with 2:33 left to play to secure their victory.
Congratulations Team Thunder!
