U10G Lightning at Wyomissing Quarry Classic

May 2010

Congratulations to the PASC U10 Girls Lightning who placed fourth in the 2010 Wyomissing Quarry Classic in the U10 Girls Red/White Crossover Division.  The Lightning, a PASC recreational league team, played four Berks/Lancaster County travel teams during the tournament.  The Lightning finished the round robin portion of the tournament tied for first place in the White Division with a 1-0-2 record (surrendering only 3 goals in 3 games) and narrowly missed playing in the championship game (the Lightning lost a very exciting penalty kick shootout to Wilson West Lawn 3-2 to determine who would play for the championship against the top seed in the Red Division).  In the 3rd/4th place game, the Lightning lost a heartbreaker to Ephrata 1-0.  Congratulations again to the Lightning on a great showing at the Quarry Classic!!
